Like CNET (we recommended before), Wired is another magazine and web media that focuses on the impact of technology to our life, culture and society.

The Wired’s website has a Video section that offers a lot of short video reports. Among them, the Gadget Lab series is very informative, such as the latest iPhone, the chair that’s good for your body, and the camcorder.

For the language learners, the best feature in the Telegraph’s website is its video. The coverage is categorized under the four sections: News, Culture, Lifestyle, and Sport, each with the fresh and original video reports along with the articles.

Its formal British English style is charming, too.

Saturday Night Live (SNL) is a weekly, late-night comedy show by NBC. Broadcast live, the show rolls a series of short comedy scenes in each 90-minute long episode, making fun of politician and celebrity.

What it does best is impersonation. Here are a few most popular ones: Sarah Palin and Hillary Clinton joint press conferenceHigh school musical, Wall Street CEO. Its Commercial Parodies are hilarious. Check out Cluckin Chicken, The Love Toilet.

Sometimes watching movie trailers are more fun than watching movies. And almost all movie trailers are terrific materials for language learning.

We recommended Apple’s iTune Movie Trailers before. It’s the best website to watch the trailers. Now YouTube came along, adding a new channel dedicated to the trailers. They don’t have a lot to show yet, but it’s easy to browse them under Popular, Latest, In Theaters, Open Soon, Studio.
